Heading to the GREAT OHIO COLUMBUS MISSION!

Greetings,
Everything is going good in THE GREAT OCM. This past week has been a week of miracles as we have been able to find many new investigators and we even have a baptism on date. Her name is Angela. She told us she wanted to come to the mission broadcast last night so we had a member take her. She told us afterwards that she wants to be baptized and that she wants her daughters to serve missions too (she has like 5 teenagers). She wants us to convert her entire family!!! It is awesome!!! Other than that our other progressing investigator Keilah still needs to be put on date but she wants to get baptized. We are currently doing tons of work in the ward with meeting less actives. There are so many! Our ward has over 500 members but only around 200 come to church. It is a big ward though, it fills half the cultural hall and it feels just like any other Utah ward. So yeah one baptism coming up on July 7th!
I put about 10 pictures in the dropbox, but they are almost all from the MTC. I have done a terrible job at taking pictures in Ohio because of the lack of time and so I don't have any of my current companions, but don't worry I will work on that.
So Xenia Ohio is known for its tornados, typically every 10 years there is a tornado which tears up part of the town. The last one was over 10 years ago  and every one talks about it. Hopefully I get to see one. (don't worry mom I am protected)
Other than that this week we have done a lot of knocking on doors, which is actually fairly successful for us. We have found quite a few people who make a return appointment, but are not home when we come back, so people tell us to come back, but we are working on getting back inside. In terms of teaching, my trainers are teaching me a lot and although I am fairly shy, I know that the Lord is able to speak to me so I am constantly listening to my inner feelings, but I still have a lot to learn.
Oh, cool thing, guess who was in my ward on Sunday. Bruce Newbold! I went up to him and we talked about Dad's mission president a little bit after I told him that Dad served in Australia. It was brief but it felt good to shake the hand of a Mormon Movie Star. I guess he was visiting a friend or something. It is a small world.
There is also someone in our ward who grew up in Beaver Utah and is familiar with the Yardley family. She even has some pictures of Weston! We had dinner at their house and the best part is she respects my dream and even encourages it. Long live the dream!
Last night it sounds like you all went to the Mission broadcast which stressed very highly the importance of Missionary work in terms of the members. I encourage all of you to become involved in this great work. I have been set apart as a missionary for the church but your calling is just as real as mine. When you were baptized you took upon yourselves the name of Christ. There is no greater work on this earth than the work of Salvation, of which we are all a part of. Pray for missionary experiences and most importantly do not let them pass you by. The blessings of missionary work are more than can be comprehended. There is no greater happiness in this life than standing up for the truth and inviting others to come unto Christ. I know that all of my family at home is very capable of working miracles in the life of others and I ask of you to take part in this great work. In Hurricane it may seem as if there is no one to teach, but the calling is just as important among members and lifting each other up.
My time is short, the library computer will immediately shut down after my time is up so I bid unto all Adieu,
(ha ha, I love Jacob in the book of Mormon)
With love from all my heart,
Elder Beutler
