Greetings, from the Great OCM!!!,

A week of miracles, as usual, but the biggest thing that happened this week was we put an investigtor on date who has been investigating for 2 years. However 2 years ago he knew the Church was true and he wanted to be baptized, the only problem is he needed First Presidency approval to do so. The First Presidency's first responce was not yet; So recently he sent in his papers a second time. On Saturday we received a call from President Nilsen. He told us that He was approved for baptism by the First Presidency, and that this was one of the biggest highlights of his (President's) life. So after two long years of dilligence and repentence, has come the miracle of forgiveness. My testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ has greatly increased over the last few days. Knowing that someone who was once the vilest of sinners, has brought forth fruits worthy of repentence, and through baptism and ultimately the Atonement those things which were done will be remembered no more, as if they never happened in the eyes of God. On Sunday he stood up and bore his testimony, one of the most powerful testimonies I have ever heard. I know that the Gospel can change lives through Christ's atonement.

Right now we are working wih a woman who wants to be baptized very badly, however she is not married to her boyfriend (who is a member), and the only problem with being married is that if they are married they lose their health care which is provided by the government. Due to their health they are in need of health care and they have been dilligently looking into just about every option they have but to no avail. They are relying on the Lord to help them find a way so they can be married. It is possible that the boyfiend will find a better job. We have been fasting and praying that the Lord will provide a way, but it has been very frustrating because she is so very ready to be baptized.

Over this last week there were a lot of tornado warnings here in Columbus.  In fact, some roofs were torn off houses in the southern part of the city (not my area). It did get very windy as a storm passed through but it did not really effect us in our area. I guess tornados can happen all year round if conditions are just right. Maybe I will get lucky and see one . . . ha ha just kidding.

I can't believe Cameron is turning 11, man before I know it he will be a deacon! Yes, I am very aware that it is boy birthday month so be expecting something fairly soon. I hope you all have a great week, I love you too!

Love, Elder Beutler
