Greetings from the Great OCM!

Transfers are on Tuesday (tomorrow) this week instead of the usual Thursday. We received transfer calls today and I was told to pack my bags. Tomorrow I will be leaving my area, which is the only area I have ever been in. My other companions are staying. It is hard...really hard to leave the people I have given my all for, and the companions that I have had the great experiences with. I don't know where they will send me or who I will be with but I know that it will be inspired and will be what is best for me and most importantly the people here at this time.

This last week has been great. We did alot of hard work and accomplished much. Right now we have  2 investigators who want to be baptized but the only thing that is holding them back is quitting smoking. It seems everyone smokes here too. It all comes down to how strong is the desire to be baptized, if it is stronger than smoking, then they can do it.

I did not forget Mom's birthday! p-day has just been crazy for the last two weeks but don't worry, expect something in the mail this week. Oh, and so you know my address is changing so all letters/packages must be sent to the mission office:

OHIO COLUMBUS MISSION
19 Clairdan dr.
Powell OH, 43065

For future reference all mail, at all times, no matter where I am serving should be sent to the mission office which will then forward it to me.

Let me just take a sentence or two to bear a short testimony that there are no coincidences. The Lord places people in our path to talk to and to teach . . . always. This week we were finishing up the night and then decided we would knock on one more door. There was a couple sitting out on their porch and we started talking to them. Before we walked up to the door they had been talking about the Mormon church and were very surprised to see us since it was part of their conversation. We were able to teach them and they invited us back over. I know that the Lord provides not coincidences, but miracles. That has become plainly evident on my mission.

I love you all and hope to hear from you soon. Keep me in your prayers as I move to a new area, with new people, and a new companion.

Love, Elder Beutler
