Greetings from the Great OCM!!!

Do you ever consider just how blessed we are! I often wonder why? This gospel is the way to true happiness - how can we deny that in our lives. Just like it says in Mosiah 2:41!

It has been an amazing week here, full of the usual daily miracles but the highlight of the week was definitely having the opportunity to attend the temple on Thursday. How I love that place! I made sure to enjoy every precious moment of it because it will be six months before I will go in again. We did not get to see the new new movie! That was a little disappointing. We watched the new-old one that I have already seen. But it was one of the best temple trips I have ever taken before. When we finally got to the Celestial room, the spirit was overwhelming. I just soaked it all in and received revelation for a few questions that have been on my mind. I stayed in that Celestial room until I was the only person in there besides a few workers. It was hard to leave! 6 months is a long time to wait. When I got to the locker room I sat there and sobbed for a few minutes. I just can't describe my love for that place and how beautiful it is.

It was an absolutely fantastic week for us. It was very discouraging when our most progressing investigator who was on date to be baptized told us he is gay and will not change. We had a couple more great lessons with him but then he looked up a lot of Anti material and dropped us. So this week was full of ups and downs. On Saturday though we were out in a very small town called Jelloway and we were kind of out in the middle of nowhere when Elder Dubose felt prompted to go to a particular house up on this hill. We met an old guy who was very kind and talked to him for a while. Then we went and visited his neighbor who lives in an old farmhouse. A woman answered and we found out that she used to be Amish. We set up a return appointment for Sunday, and Yesterday we went back with Bro, and Sis Weaver (Amish converts). We had a good lesson and they agreed to come to church and read the Book of Mormon. Since they left the Amish church they have been shunned by all their friends, so they really want to fit in, and although they went church hopping for some time they did not find a church that they felt comfortable in. Well, our little Amish group was made specifically so other Amish could feel comfortable so hopefully we can get them to church this weekend. It is very exciting to be teaching an Amish family.

The little group we have out here is amazing. I have never seen a group of people so close to the spirit. It seems that everything we do is from direct revelation and it is amazing.

I kind of forgot who I wrote this last week so you will have to remind me if I haven't written anyone for a while.

Have a fantastic week. I feel that a family could never be more blessed than we are. I love you and am so proud and happy to be a part of our eternal family.

Love,
Elder Beutler
