It has been a good
week. Mom, I really appreciated you letter which gave insights about
your favorite General Conference talk. That talk has become one of my
favorites. I am working to increase my spiritual confidence.
We focused on finding this week since our teaching pool is small and we saw some miracles. One of which:
We
received a call earlier this week from a woman who lives in Arizona.
She has a friend who lives in our area who is struggling with a
complicated pregnancy. She told us she had talked with her friend and
she had accepted receiving a blessing. So one night after dinner we took
a member and went over. It is an awesome young family. The woman who we
gave the blessing to claimed she is agnostic. However, when we laid our
hands on her head and offered a blessing, tears came streaming down her
face. To make a long story short she invited us to come back, along
with her husband. All it took was one invitation from a member on the
other side of the country. An invitation that led to this. I wish
members would recognize the power in a simple invitation. If they say no
so what. But there is amazing potential if they say yes.
Make
sure to tell the Beutlers I said "hi" when you go to Thanksgiving. We
have 2 members feeding us on Thursday so I should be well taken care
of.
I am sorry I have to make it super short
today, but I am simply overwhelmed with college things. . . ug. There
just is never time to get personal things done. You may still expect a
letter this week.
I love, love, love you!
