Wow! It is great to
know that your meeting with our long last family went well! Love the
pictures and I am very excited that you were given the scrapbook. Now we
can begin working on that line, after all the searching it is finally
open! And there will be hundreds of names to take to the temple (a
lifetime's worth of temple work).
It was
another great week in the Ohio with more sub-zero temperatures, and lots
of snow. On Saturday the mission asked us not to drive because the
roads were awful. We received 7 inches of snow that day and spent the
entire day walking to homes and shoveling snow (it was very exhausting).
The good news is for the first time in over a week the temperature got
above 30 on Saturday and Sunday. But today we are back to a high of 15
and this week looks like another cold one. I hope the spring weather
comes soon as the cold is getting a little old.
We
are currently trying to figure out a situation with one of our
investigators who wants to be baptized. The only problem is that he is
technically in another ward's boundaries, and the church is very strict
about boundaries. We can baptize him any time as missionaries but we
know he would not be able to hold a calling if he attends our ward here
in Xenia (since his records would be elsewhere). To move records
requires approval from the first presidency, so we are trying to figure
out the situation. He was not happy when we told him he should consider
attending the other ward and I really hope this does not affect his
conversion.
Other than that we have another
woman who is on date for March and we look forward to her baptism. We
also have transfers coming up this next week so who knows? but I have
been in the blessed land of Xenia for some time now and would not be
surprised if I drop down from being a zone leader (it has been over a
year now).
I know it is a short email; I am anxious to do some searching on ancestry!
Love you!
