Running
shoe info., I don't really have a large preference since I am not
running great lengths every day, but the shoes I do have that work well
are Asics, and the model is T233N, they are size 7.5, but I could
probably use 8 since they are a wee bit snug. However I have also
enjoyed running in Saucony's so I really do not have much preference of
shoe. Whatever is the most affordable since I do not need anything
really nice for running on a mission.
For the last week or so there have been passing
thunderstorms daily. Last night there was a tornado about 25 miles west
of us, no big deal though, we only got a little bit of rain in Danville.
Hopefully I will have the opportunity to see one of those freaks of
nature this summer, after all we are in tornado season right now. Other
than that the weather has been very warm, up around 90 and really humid.
Everything is a blinding green right now it is crazy. It seems that in
two weeks we went from gray, cold and dreary to green and warm.
I loved the insights from your studying Mom. While
reading in 1st Nephi this last week I came across the scripture where
Nephi is speaking about recognizing the spirit and tells his brothers
that that they were "past feeling." Recognizing the spirit can be
extremely hard sometimes, it has been a lot easier on a mission, but
still it is hard because there are all kinds of feelings we have to sort
through before we find the spirit. I think it was Elder Bednar who once
said that we shouldn't worry about it, if we are living with obedience
to God's Law then our will, will be more in line with the spirit. I
think it has really helped me to recognize the spirit, being in the homes of
non-members, because it just doesn't feel the same there.
I know it was fairly short today, I will let you know what happens with transfers. I am on my toes.
