Greetings from the Great OCM!!!

So. . .  I am guessing Sadie is dating someone now??? Still totally out of the loop as to what has happened because I have not heard from her. It has been killing me all week! Somebody needs to tell me asap. . . like if you are reading this email, send me another one that tells me what is going on! Who is this guy? Did he serve a mission? How old is he? I need a picture!! How serious is the relationship?!?!

The weather has not improved this week. It has snowed twice, and spring still seems out of reach. I have never looked forward to spring so much. I believe this week it is supposed to warm some. We ran out of miles on our car a couple days ago and so we have been biking everywhere, which I actually really enjoy biking. It is so much more productive than driving when you are in a city like Mansfield. So many people are out and about that we can talk to. Most of the people we have been finding lately are from street contacts on bikes, and we have done hardly any cold contacting (tracting).

Yesterday we were biking down a street, it was cold and windy, and suddenly this little girl peeked her head out of her front door and called to us, then went inside. We pulled over and knocked on the door and began teaching the Mom, who was totally oblivious that her child had brought us to their home. The Lord really does some interesting things to lead us to those who are ready to hear the gospel. We were able to set up a return appointment with this family, and I am excited to teach them!

I need to put in a plug for helives.mormon.org Remember how the church put out a video this last Christmas and encouraged all the members to get their nonmember friends to watch it, and to share it on social media? Well they are doing it again this Easter but better. In fact they intend to do one of these initiatives every Christmas and Easter from now on. I really encourage you to become familiar with the website and share the video using social media. The website has been engineered to help answer questions for those interested, or to help people gain interest in the gospel. The church really knows what they are doing.

While many people take the time this Easter season to focus on the Death of Christ we must remember that the Christ we worship is a living one. The Easter message is not that He died, but that HE LIVES! And because He lives, He still speaks to us, He still calls prophets in our day, He still has his 12 apostles, and ultimately His church is here today because He lives. May we all remember this Easter season that He lives, and what is possible because He lives.

Love, Elder Beutler
